This course is designed for beginners who are setting up a bearded dragon enclosure for the first time, or for keepers who have already purchased equipment and now suspect some of those choices may have been wrong.
The goal of this setup is simple and intentional:
to create a safe, stable, budget-conscious enclosure that meets all minimum health requirements for a bearded dragon to live a long, healthy life.
If you followed this setup exactly and never changed anything, your dragon would still be capable of living 10–15 years with proper daily care.
This course does not cover advanced or aesthetic builds.
It does not focus on bioactive substrates, or experimenting with multiple lighting systems. Those things can absolutely be added later, but they are not required for a bearded dragon to live a long life and be physically healthy.

That is who this course is for.
If you are already running a fully built 4×2x2 enclosure with linear UVB, LED lighting, and a bioactive substrate, this course is likely not for you.

These setups are intentionally bare-bones, but they are not deficient.
They are proven, stable, and capable of supporting long-term health.
Once your dragon is safe and stable, you can, and should, invest in enrichment and quality-of-life upgrades. This course exists to make sure you build the foundation first, so your bearded dragon isn’t just surviving, but positioned to thrive.
