This graphic shows what MBD is and how bad it can get. Without having the proper UVB, your Bearded Dragon will eventually get MBD. This disease is not reversible so once the damage is done, it’s done. If you have a bearded dragon with MBD and end up getting the right lighting, if you keep up with it, it cannot get worse but won’t go back to normal. Please read our UVB section to see what UVB you will need for your Bearded Dragon. Signs of MBD can include: Missing teeth, kinked tail, curved or flatten spine, underbite, hour glass head, and curved arms & legs.
